Three things define me!

My partner calls me his wife. Out of this union, my lovely girls call me mum. To the world, I am a lifestyle prenuer. I did not start here, though. Like most people, my life was a routine. A painful, emotionally draining method.
Picture this….. Two young girls, who barely see their mum days on end. Well, that is the surface…. Imagine coming home and finding out baby walked.!!! This tore me apart in depths I cannot explain. Well, from outside in, I was that smiley lady, with a high flying job in a 5-star airline. I mean, by most standards, I was living the life. I traveled far and wide, but this was at my boss’s pleasure. It was just a job. I was grateful for it, but my life was not fulfilling

It was JUST!

In my quest to enrich my mind I stumbled upon  The Unemployed Millionaire by Matt Morris. The immediate impact I got has a trickling effect to date. It is a book I would highly recommend.
My biggest take away was, I should create opportunities to realize the success and financial freedom I so hungered for. One that could allow me to be with my family.
I would say 2012 was my ‘aha’ year. From then on, I started looking at the world from a different angle. I first begin by continually feeding my mind with literature that resonated with my vision.
With ease, I aligned myself with bestselling authors and allowed myself to be mentored by the best in the industry. As I got to see the benefit of all this, a burden was created in my heart. I knew a lot of people like me who wanted a way out. A way out that would not hurt their finances.
This bore the passion for lending a hand and walking the journey with anyone willing. Are you Open-minded? Then you are a perfect match. Your background, notwithstanding. We can walk the journey together.

Today, I am proud to confidently say, I am a mum who drops her girls to schools every other day. I pick them up, and we sing on our way back home. I mean, I was missing out big time. I can whip up a sumptuous meal for the family and enjoy wine later with my husband after putting babies to bed without a spec of worry. You know what is even better, I am not a financial burden. I am an all-rounded asset to my family and the community. I routed my way out. I am happier!

Karaoke

Out of the things to do, karaoke is one of my favourite . More so when I do it for Charity. From the hillarious songs of our local musicians, to famous celebrity tunes, karaoke party brings you a long list to choose from.

Making a difference is what I do in large and small ways in our communities and doing it in a fun way with neighbors, friends, problem solvers to create a lasting change in our communities makes it all the while.

This Karaoke event helped us raise funds towards children leaving with HIV #SingingForAGoodCourse. But also made us realise the essence of family, friendship, fun and fellowship. Through such charitable events, we have helped children living in the slums with sanitary pads, given dignity back to our women living with fistula through Free surgeries, eradication of polio and looking forward to impacting more lives in future.
